This continuing education, and national certification workshop for healthcare professionals offers home study and a 1-day hands-on training and information to extend the healthcare professional’s skill set in the field. The structure of this workshop is composed of approximately 30-hours of home study (e-book will be emailed to you upon registration) and 10 hours of face-to-face hands-on clinical instruction totaling 40 hours.
The National Medical Certification Bridge Program NMCBP was designed to help healthcare professionals, International Medical Graduates, Foreign Medical Graduates (IMG, FMG) upskill, re-skill, and build on the foundation they’ve already established and obtain National Certification. The 1-Day Hands on workshop is usually 10am-7pm (lunch is included) The national certification exam is taken the last 2-hours of workshop.
Who can attend NMCBP 1-Day continuing education and national certification workshops?
The National Medical Certification Bridge Program NMCBP is only open to Healthcare professionals that have a background in healthcare by way of schooling, experience or if you were trained on the job. Federal law does not require healthcare professionals that meet certain professional standards to attend lengthy traditional programs in order to obtain certification.
The Certification Board allows a waiver of classroom hours for qualified healthcare professionals seeking to update and increase their knowledge and skills from previous training or experience. Now healthcare professionals don’t have to spend thousands of dollars going back to school in tough economic times like these for skills they already have when really only need a refresher, continuing education or national certification.

- Step One: Enroll in the National Medical Certification Bridge Program NMCBP
- Step Two: You will receive an email with the Preparatory home study material. Consists of approximately 10-30 hours of preparatory self-pace home study (study guide included)
- Step Three 1-Day live in person hands-on training with experienced live instructors approximately 10-hours Same day national certification exam taken the last 2 hours of the workshop

National Medical Certification Bridge Program students will gain valuable experience in both hands-on teaching and understanding the premise of direct patient care.You will earn valid National Certification and a 40-hour Continuing Education Diploma from a licensed school.

Combination up-skill cross training for healthcare professionals in Phlebotomy, Patient care tech, EKG, Clinical Medical Assistant and Healthcare Technician.The structure of this workshop is composed of approximately 40-hours of continuing education home study (e-book will be emailed to you upon registration) and 12 hours of face-to-face hands-on clinical instruction totaling 52 hours.
